Introduction

Taking care of individuals who are suffering from health related issue calls for utmost care, patience and naturally, it is the responsibility of nursing practice to ensure care user’s well being. The scientific body of this nursing practice is helped to give a vital service to their patients for promoting their patient’s mental ability that will help to affect their patient’s health positively. It helps to cover different factors of attitude, their approach and behaviour which is underpinned a good health care. The principle of nursing guideline is beneficial for all the nurses and health and social care professionals in order to follow suitable practice and tactics to serve the patients with better treatment and quality acre after proper diagnose. There are eight types of key principle under the nursing practice. Each of these nursing principles is closely as well as directly associated with each other in order to provide good services to their patients. Moreover, all of these key principles of nursing practice are well developed under ‘Royal College of the nursing’ by making a partnership with nursing, health and midwifery council of 2015.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in 2015 has recommended several valuable strategies that are helpful to recognise and describe the importance of measurement of that key principle by matching the nursing practice with that of nursing care. As a nursing student, I have obtained a health and social care with a humanity and dignity as we try to understand and determine the actual needs of the patients. Therefore, it must be shown with sensitivity and need to provide a proper care to them in a very sensitive manner.

The principle of person centred care allowed patients can be allowed to perceive as well as provided a health oriented opportunity that helps to involve them in a decision making health and social care. As a student nurse, our entire team of the nursing staff and nurses helps to promote a health care in which we put our patients in a centre of health services and health care. Under the patient centred care, it the health and social care service providers deliver proper care that is respectful and responsive to the patient’s preferences, needs and values which further ensures that the clinical decision, treatment and quality care are helpful to improve the value of the patients. It will help to make informed choices regarding the health care and their treatment. this type of health care practice can be said as a special care as well as special treatment where they placed their patients at centre to that of own care.

I would like to describe the various elements that are involved in this person centred health care. Several major principles are discussed in following section. Firstly, getting to know about their clients or their patients as a human being is considered as first principle. Secondly, sharing responsibility as well as power is another principle as this key principle mainly focuses to plan a health care service, making decision which involved with a treatment to their existing patients. Thirdly, accessibility and flexibility, focuses to provide their patients expressed needs, sensitive value as well as a preference value. Fourthly, integration as well as the coordination of a health service is also paramount as it helps to improve their teamwork. it is involved with a positive experiences which is provides to their patients in a hospital. Although, it will help to report, record as well as assess on health care and treatment. Moreover, this type of key principle can be able to handle patient’s important information with a very confidential and sensitive manner.

Moreover, providing a cultural, physical and organisational environment can also allow nurses to be the person centred. For example, the nurses and other health and social; care professionals respect the patients and give importance to the preferences, needs and values. Moreover, in order to improve organisational culture and environment, the nurses try to improve cooperation And integration as providing health and social care needs teamwork and collaboration for maximising patient’s values. Emotional support, involvement with the patients and family as well as communication with the patients are other strategic planning for improving internal environment in the health and social care institution. Most of the doctors, social worker as well as nurses in this diverse world are bound to the legal, ethical and a professional code while proving a good and assured healthcare service to their patients. It can be able to measure a performance standard that helps to ensure whether their health care services are non-judgmental, non-prejudicial, fair, and respectful or not in the health oriented organization. an ethical approach must be included a professional awareness for their responsibility which is needed to follow an ethics as well as a legal framework in order to promote their health services.

In our placement practice, there was a young lady, named Nicole, was suffering from a down syndrome. She was admitted in ward during the placement. She had been faced a developmental and intellectual problem during this Down syndrome. By providing a self cantered health care and services, there has been a drastic improvement in her health and after 3 months, she can get a quality of lives and also helps to reduce her mental pressure on the social services as well as on the health care services. This type of key principle can be able to make their patients safe as well as physically comfortable as it is involved with their friends and their family. High integration and ethical approach ion the health and social care institution further helps the lady to improve her health and mental condition. The nurses are also cooperative and try to interact with the patient so that they can recover well.

On the other hand, another key principle in the health and social care is to communicate with each other in order to haring responsibilities and working as a team to improve the patient’s health condition. all of the nursing staff and their nurse’s are expect to coordinate with each and every aspects as well as measure for the rehabilitation and the treatment to ensure that each and every individual in career is making efforts for accomplishing the goals in collaborative as well as supportive relation with their patients. An emotional support usually comes by an effective interaction and communication with their patients. Proper interaction with the patient with patience as well as cooperating with them for fulfilling their needs are also helpful to improve the condition of the individuals.

Firstly, I would like to say that key principle such as communication is one of the major elements that will help to improve their patient’s lifestyle in future. One of the major practices of this effective as well as efficient health care and social care services is a good communication with each and every patients in their hospital. During my practice session, the family member of Nicole looked after her very intensively with an optimal care by staying and supporting her every time and also communicating with her. Then it will be very easy to provide her a quality and a healthy lifestyle.

communication plays a very crucial role in order to provide an encouragement as well as enthusiasm to their patients. Moreover, this can be said as an effective way to promote their health care activity with a service user in which this type of encouragement as well as enthusiasm can be help to provide a meaning to lead a healthy life and it can provide a scope for organising the social activity, social network and much more. In order to discuss own experience, Gibbs reflective cycle is helpful as it provides a scope to explain own understanding, feelings and action plan. As per the findings, the principles of nursing are helpful to improve the quality of the care so that the values and preferences of the patients can be maximised. In this regard, in order to improve the health and social care system, the nurses and health care professionals need to cooperate and integrate with each other in order to improve patient centred care in the institution. Through this study I came to know that, the principles are good for managing the standard of the quality under health and social care service as well as improving patients’ condition through maximising the patient’s values. I further try to improve integration and communication as well as collaborate with other nurses so that I can provide the best treatment and quality care after proper diagnosis of the patients. If I will have the opportunity, my action plan will be to enhance communication, increase prevention and safety, provide personal care and self care opportunity. Improve care environment, maintain respect, privacy and dignity as well as improve clinical monitoring and management.

a treatment and a proper health care with health needs must be included psychological therapy, different types of medications as well as an appropriate support program from their community to provide a social connection, accommodation and a physical health. They need to provide a proper social condition along with social care, their emotional needs, and an appropriate environment for their patients in a ward. A treatment can be able to change their health condition and also possible to reduce its side effect by providing them a good service care.

In the context of this health and social care, different types health care program must be supported by some of popular activity such as inpatients care, violence prevention, as well as the residential care which is required to provide their patients for recovering as early as possible. proper health care services can be organised in a very systematic manner so that there will be an effective implementation to this health care policy. It is one of the important aspects to implement the health as well as social care services that can be able to provide forensic services, adult services as well as the child services in their ward.

On the other hand, a family caregiver can be able to play a multiple role in order to give a healthy life to their patients. it is included a supervising medication, day to day health care services, looking after their physical condition as well as the emotional and financial need to their patients.
